My Biography

I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because of its multi-ethnic diversity. Kaiser Permanente made me feel that all patients are valued - you are very important.

I have worked in Chronic Outpatient Hemodialysis for 12 years helping dialysis patients and their families to understand their Chronic Kidney disease and help manage their care. As a case manager, I am also able to help pre-ESRD patients understand their disease and how to manage it.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy watching movies, strolling and picnicking in the park, traveling, and spending time with my three beautiful children.

Other Languages: Tagalog
Undergraduate Education: RN, City College of San Francisco
Professional Conferences: National Kidney Foundation
Professional Affiliations: American Nephrology Nurses Association; Council of Nephrology Nurses and Technicians
Began Practice: 1994
Joined Kaiser Permanente: 2006

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
