Welcome to my home page and thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself.
I started at Kaiser in October, 2006 following a 13 year group practice in Florida. I believe that a successful radiologist must be very good in all areas of the specialty, in addition to special expertise in a more specialized
field of radiology. Hence, I consider myself a general radiologist first and foremost. In addition, I have subspecialty fellowship training in both MRI and musculoskeletal radiology.
I have always been interested in applying technology and science to improve life. Prior to becoming a physician, I earned a Ph.D. in cell biology. Radiology affords me the opportunity to utilize modern technology and my scientific background to help people.
I was born and raised in New York City. I spent 12 years in Boston while in graduate school as well as during my residency and MRI fellowship. I now return (finally!) to the Bay area where I attended medical school and did a musculoskeletal fellowship.
I am married and have a young daughter and son. We like to hike and bike.
I love to read about ancient history and science. I am a Mac fanatic and a rabid fan of the Green Bay Packers.
