Kaiser Permanente's integrated health care model provides the most balanced, comprehensive care available in any major medical center. A broad array of services is available for members, and patients benefit from easy accessibility and a bevy of online features. At kp.org, members are able to refill prescriptions and review lab or test results at their convenience. When they are on site, they can take advantage of our numerous pharmacies to purchase their medications. We also have our own laboratory. As a native northern Californian, the Bay Area is home to me, and it’s wonderful to be able to work here.

About Me

My goal is to make the surgical experience as painless as possible. I enjoy forming relationships with patients’ families and helping them through these highly-stressful times. My emphasis is on pediatric anesthesiology. This area has been a primary interest for me and extends back to when I completed my fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

I am an outdoor enthusiast and I enjoy activities such as backpacking, hiking, skiing, bicycling, and riding white-water rapids. I love spending time with my wife and two small children.

I look forward to working with you at Oakland Medical Center.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
