Welcome to My Internet Home Page

I am so happy you chose to visit my home page today, taking your first steps towards “Higher Asthma Education”. My name is Bridgett Turner and I am the Asthma Care Manager in Chronic Conditions Management Department in Manteca and Modesto. Mona Saenz is my program assistant. As an Asthma Care Manager, I work hand in hand with your primary doctor to ensure you receive the best asthma care possible, providing comprehensive asthma education, one on one assessment of your asthma severity and medication management.

About Me

In 1994, after completing the respiratory therapy program at Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, Southern California, I began my career working in a community hospital. Over the years I have worked in many areas of my profession; I have been a lead therapist in the intensive care unit, emergency room, skilled nursing facility care, post open heart care, neonatal intensive care, pediatrics intensive care, hyperbaric oxygen and now asthma/ chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) education.

I enjoy my position here at Kaiser Permanente as an Asthma Care Manager as it allows me the opportunity to provide members the pieces of information necessary to optimally care for their asthma.

My Philosophy of Care

Education is the key to a full and healthier life. Learning as much as possible about your asthma will give you the knowledge necessary to control your condition thus improving the quality of your life. This is why I ensure plenty of one on one time with my patients providing the opportunity to ask important questions, giving the patients a sense of confidence with self managing their Asthma/COPD.

How to get Care

Appointments are by referral only. Please contact your primary care provider at (209) 557-1650.

For more information about asthma control, please click here or pick up a free asthma packet available in the Health Education Department at all Central Valley Area locations.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcomed and I look forward to seeing you.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
