Welcome to My Home Page!

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2007, after working four years in private practice. I was raised in the foothills in Mariposa. After finishing my bachelor's degree at the University of California, Davis, I moved to the Fresno area for graduate school. I currently live in Clovis with my wife and two small children. My wife and I love the valley. One thing that we enjoy the most here are the people. The people of the valley really care about each other.

My first experience with Kaiser Permanente was as a student; I did two internships with Kaiser Permanente. I think the Kaiser Permanente system is very effective and has quite a bit to offer. I have found that the patients seem very appreciative of the care we provide.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing and watching sports, and traveling. I am also a huge USC football fan. I have season tickets and I try to go to as many games as I can.

Practice Philosophy

I chose physical therapy because I enjoy working with people in an outpatient setting. My practice philosophy is to try to provide a friendly atmosphere so patients can speak freely and ask questions. I do enjoy getting to know my patients as people and not just a number with a diagnosis. I believe that the best way to provide healthcare is to make the patient an integral part of the decision making process. I feel that Kaiser Permanente allows for a great support system through classes and counseling from various clinical educators.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
