I am a native Californian, born in San Francisco, moved to Santa Rosa until the age of 4 and have been in Sacramento ever since (other then school and military service). I received my undergraduate degree from the University of California Davis.

My Credentials

Medical school Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood, IL
Residency Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL
Board certification Radiology-Diagnostic, American Board of Radiology

I have been a member of the Department of Radiology at South Sacramento since returning to Sacramento in 1999. Prior to this I was in the United States Air Force in South Carolina where I spent 4 years in the Radiology department at Shaw Air Force Base.

My interests include cross sectional imaging with a focus on Computed Tomography and Ultrasound as well as image guided procedures. Mammography, Breast Ultrasound and Breast biopsy are also areas of special interest.

Outside of work I spend time with my family, bicycle along the American River Parkway and enjoy the nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains.

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
