Hello and welcome to my home page!
About Me
I was raised in southern California before attending the University of California at Berkeley for undergraduate studies. My medical school and Radiology residency degrees are from the University of California at Davis. This was followed by a fellowship in Body Imaging from Stanford University before joining the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group.
I enjoy being a doctor and chose to specialize in radiology because I grew up looking at, admiring, and shooting all kinds of pictures. Radiographs offer the same insight, and the parallels between photography and radiology drew me to the specialty. Similar to the examination of fine photography, radiographs contain easily observed elements, but a trained eye is required to detect the subtle findings and comprehend the underlying significance.
As a Radiologist, I have the opportunity to contribute to patient's care through imaging whether through x-ray, ultrasound, CT, PET, or MRI. It is exciting and challenging, and I find it rewarding to work with other doctors in providing cutting edge care.
During my leisure time, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, biking, and photography.
My Philosophy of Care
I believe patients should be treated with respect and compassion. I strive to provide the same level of care for my patients as I desire for my family. I look forward to be a part of the multidisciplinary approach in providing personal care to you and your family.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
