Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Welcome to my home page! After you get a chance to know a little about me through this home page, I hope that I will no longer be that "stranger" in a tie. I am here to provide the best possible care and I am honored to be a part of such an awesome team here in Physical Therapy.

About Me

I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training at California State University, Sacramento. From there, I continued my graduate work at Ball State, Muncie, Indiana. Upon completion of my Master's Degree, I opted to teach English in Zaragoza, Spain. After three years of perfecting my Spanish, I decided to return to the United States to pursue my second Bachelor's Degree at my old alma mater, California State University, Sacramento.

When I am not helping folks in therapy, I enjoy fly-fishing, hiking/backpacking and online video games. I am fluent in Spanish and really enjoy using my gift to help others that do not speak English well.

Philosophy of Care

I empathize with my patients and believe in treating the individual for the challenges that they may have. Many people have pain, but each case is a little different. My special area of interest in Physical Therapy includes the shoulder and knee. Our department wants to provide you with the best possible treatment, so please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or problems.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
