About Me
Prior to coming to Kaiser Permanente, my past clinical experience includes foster care social work and inpatient psychiatric hospital social work. I have also worked with the homeless population and people with physical and developmental disabilities.
I have a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University and a Master’s Degree from California State University Sacramento. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2001.
I currently work in the Department of Psychiatry for Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the Crisis Team. The Crisis Team in the Department of Psychiatry provides treatment and intervention for psychological emergencies. Our clinicians work on a multi-disciplinary team that is made up of MDs, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Marriage Family Therapists. We provide treatment and intervention at Sacramento, Morse Avenue and Roseville Parkway Out-Patient Clinics, the Roseville and Sacramento Emergency Departments and the Roseville and Sacramento in-patient medicine units.
Kaiser Permanente is a great place to work because my coworkers are a supportive and fun group of people. I enjoy the field of psychiatry and helping people.
