Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I have an interest and specialized training in interventional radiology, which focus on using X-rays, ultrasound and other imaging modalities to perform minimally invasive, targeted treatments. Today many conditions that once required open surgery can be treated by minimally-invasive image-guided techniques, with less risk, less pain, and less recovery time. This area of medicine is constantly changing and refining itself, with new techniques being developed all the time. My goal is to always work hard to keep up with the latest research and development, and bring these benefits to my patient.
I was born and raised in Taiwan, and immigrated to the U.S. when I was 8 years old. Even though I have lived in the United States for many years, I kept close ties with my cultural background and am fluent in Mandarin Chinese. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and discover new restaurants and recipes.
This opportunity to get to know providers on a more personal level is unique to Kaiser Permanente, and it is just one more reason why I feel privileged to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family. Thank you again for taking the time to read my home page. I look forward to providing you with the best care in the near future.
Please visit the interventional radiology department website as well.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
