About Me

Welcome and thank you for visiting my homepage today. I have been a licensed speech-language pathologist since 2001. I chose my profession because I enjoy the combination of therapy, science, anatomy (including the brain) and helping people. I’m part of a small but dedicated team of speech pathologists who strive to work with our patients on achieving their goals. I evaluate and treat mostly adults with impairments involving, speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and voice impairments.

I joined the Permanente Medical Group in 2004 because they allow me to set goals with my patient’s and to work toward those goals in a way we feel is best for them. I attend conferences on a yearly basis to keep up with the latest research and information within my field.

I was born and raised in San Jose. I’m married and have 2 boys and have fun spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling, reading, cooking/baking, hiking, cardio-kickboxing, yoga and being outdoors in general. I can read, write and speak fluent Spanish

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
