About Me

I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. I am the eldest of two girls and I am a mother to two mixed Chihuahuas named Rico and Coco. Just as I finished college, I lost my mother from cervical cancer. This is something that nowadays, could have been prevented. I urge all Kaiser Permanente members to be proactive in learning when preventive screenings such as labs, x-rays, immunizations, and cancer screenings are due.

It has always given me great joy to help people return to a functional quality of life. I enjoy treating all kinds of different musculoskeletal conditions. I am a certified lymphedema therapist and I enjoy helping people manage their swollen arms, legs or face after cancer surgeries, general surgeries, or from chronic venous insufficiencies that affected their lymphatic system. I also treat pelvic pain/dysfunction, mostly women’s health issues but there are also men that might have these problems. In addition to English, I also speak Tagalog and a little Spanish.

I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because they are at the forefront of new innovations and provide many opportunities for growth. I also have a favorite aunt who lives close by who is like a second mother to me. When I have spare time, I enjoy traveling, going to estate sales, and writing.

Philosophy of Care

I see people as a whole being like I see myself - body, mind, and spirit. I always start my day thanking God for the opportunity to help people that I will have the pleasure meeting. I ask that He use all of me so that I can understand and help make somebody’s life better. I feel happy if somebody is happy. There are expectations from me and expectations from the members; I am willing to teach you how to help yourself if you are willing to learn. Give a man a fish; you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish; you feed him for a lifetime. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
