Welcome to my Home Page!

Welcome to My Doctor Online, a website that was developed to make it easier for you to interact with me and our Anesthesia Department. I am eager to work with you to make your experience at Kaiser Permanente.

Background

As a Fresno native, and having attended Hoover High, Ahwahnee Middle, and Robinson Elementary Schools, I feel lucky to be practicing anesthesia in my home town. Anesthesia is rewarding for me as I provide a comforting atmosphere to my patients undergoing a stressful period in their lives.

I joined Kaiser Fresno in 2001, after gaining vital anesthesia experience at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, St. Alphonsus Regional Trauma Center in Boise, ID. and University Medical Center in Fresno.

I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, as well as the California Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Roles and Responsibilities

Here at Kaiser Fresno, we have developed a highly dedicated and experienced group of anesthesia providers. We are able to meet the wide range of anesthetic challenges that our patients bring to us. From pediatrics to birthing mothers, I.V. sedation to general anesthesia, pain management to intensive care, our Anesthesia Department is there for our patients.

Hobbies and Interest

Away from Kaiser, I am a competitive swimmer and triathlete. My favorite event is the yearly 1.5 mile open water swim from Alcatraz Island to Aquatic Park. My family is a vital part of my life and helps me enjoy my time away from work.

Educational Background

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
