My Biography

Growing up in Hawai’i, Kaiser Permanente has always been part of my life. Kaiser Permanente encourages personal and professional growth. I enjoy being part of a health plan that encourages patients to THRIVE through a combination of curative and preventative care.

Being able to communicate with every clinician via Health Connect is a unique aspect of working here. Health Connect is Kaiser Permanente’s cutting-edge electronic records system, and it replaces the old paper-based charting. Clinicians are able to review a patient’s complete medical history at once, and all clinicians on a patient’s care team may also leave notations for one another. Patients have the ability to see many specialists on-site, at either the Geary Campus or at the French Campus, just up the road.

I enjoy merging my personal and professional lives through supporting our medical center’s events, such as the annual marathon and 5K race. I keep current with developments in my field through attendance at professional conferences and reading the Journal of American Physician Assistants. Areas of particular interest to me include the total joint registry.

During my leisure time, I enjoy running, hiking, skiing, and visiting San Francisco restaurants! I look forward to welcoming you to our medical center.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
