Welcome to My Internet Home Page

I am proud to be a member of the pulmonary and critical care division of Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can always provide you with the best medical care possible.

About Me

I was born in a farming community in Western India and grew up in a cosmopolitan city of more than a million people. I did well in school and was admitted to one of the most prestigious medical schools in Western India, the B. J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India; it is one of the largest tertiary care medical centers in South Asia. After completing medical school, I immigrated to the United States and completed my residency in internal medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ which is an affiliate of the Mount Sinai Medical School. Thereafter, I moved to the great city of Los Angeles where I completed my sub-specialty training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA.

My practice will involve care of patients in the intensive care unit, as well as an outpatient pulmonary clinic practice. I also have a strong interest in the management of patients with sleep related breathing disorders.

California is blessed with some of the most beautiful places on earth and I love to spend time outdoors with my wonderful wife and two kids. I deeply value time spent with my family and friends. I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

My Philosophy of Care

I believe in delivering compassionate yet comprehensive care to my patients. Partnering with my patients to develop an individualized care program will achieve the best result in the long term. With Kaiser Permanente's integrated system, I will have the opportunity to deliver the best possible health care without worrying about business side of medicine.

Thank you for your interest and taking the time to learn more about me, and my colleagues in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Modesto. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.
