Welcome to My Home Page!

I joined Kaiser Permanente in the Spring of 2006 as a hospitalist. I was born and raised in southern California. After completing medical school, I went on to do an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine. I am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

During my residency rotations, I greatly enjoyed my work in the hospital. I have practiced as a hospital-based physician since completing residency. I strongly believe in providing thorough and supportive care to both my patients and their families. Admission to a hospital can be a very difficult experience and I try to make it as comfortable as possible for my patients. In fact, one of the many reasons I chose to work for Kaiser Permanente is their committment to patient satisfaction. This includes careful attention to all aspects of patient care including a detailed computer-based record system and close follow-up after hospital discharge.

My Credentials

Medical school American University of Caribbean - School of Medicine, St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles
Residency University of Nevada, Las Vegas, NV
Board certification Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
