Welcome to My Home Page!

About Me

Thank you for taking the time to visit my home page. I recently completed my training in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Oakland and chose to pursue a career in hospital medicine. I am absolutely thrilled to be a hospitalist. I do love the intellectual challenge of medicine. However, it is the patients that I care for which fulfills me most. Nothing is more satisfying than helping patients understand the complex diseases that ail them and being able to take the time to teach them how to live better when they leave the hospital. Truly, the meaning in my work comes from listening to my patients and hearing their personal stories. I am absolutely committed to providing my patients with the best possible care.

Kaiser Permanente is a wonderful place to work. Here you can focus on medicine and patients. At Kaiser Permanente, you have many resources and the input of multiple disciplines to provide comprehensive care. It is a very collegial environment where everyone teaches each other. I am proud to be a Kaiser Permanente doctor.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, traveling with my husband and spending time with my friends and family.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
