Welcome to my Home Page.

I am the manager for the Rehabilitation Services Department at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City. I grew up in San Francisco and attended the University of California, San Francisco and received a Bachelor of Science degree and Certificate in physical therapy. I later returned to school to pursue a post professional masters in Neurological Physical Therapy at Samuel Merritt College in Oakland and became a board certified Neurological Clinical Specialist in1998. I will receive a post professional Clinical Doctorate degree in May of 2005 from the University of California, San Francisco.

My areas of clinical interest are Neuro Rehabilitation and Acute Care. I am also interested in promoting innovation through clinical research.

I have worked at Kaiser Permanente for many years and enjoy the opportunities for pursuing clinical excellence. As a manager of the Rehabilitation Department I try to promote clinical excellence and service amongst the staff so that our patients receive outstanding care.

In my free time I like to run marathons, travel and volunteer in my professional organization. I am married and have three wonderful daughters.

Please use this web page to better understand who I am and how I like to practice. You will also find links to what Physical Therapy is, exercise regimens, and helpful health education information.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
