Thank you for visiting my home page!

Whether I have met you in the Medicine After Hours Care Clinic or my Psychiatry office, I want you to know that I appreciate you taking the time to find out more about me and how Kaiser Permanente can help you take care of you!

Thank you for choosing Kaiser Permanente as your health care provider. I've designed my home page to provide you with information regarding some medical and mental health issues that may be of concern to you. It is my hope that my home page will further enhance your understanding of other things Kaiser Permanente offers, in addition to further opening communication between us. I appreciate any feedback that will make this a more valuable tool to you.

As a part of the excellent team at South Sacramento Medical Center, as well as the After Hours Care Clinic, we strive to provide high quality medical and psychiatric care for adults, children and families. Patients are usually referred to me via therapists or primary care providers. My role as an Adult Psychiatrist is to make specific diagnosis, manage medication, coordinate treatment planning, and advise patients.

In the Psychiatry Department, we offer a broad range of services including diagnostic evaluation, medication management, intensive outpatient treatment, crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and mental health classes.

Feel free to contact me with questions. Please call me at (916) 525-6100 with non-urgent voicemail messages. Please leave the patient's name, medical record number, your call-back phone number, and the nature of your call. For appointment changes, please call our receptionists at (916) 525-6100.

If you would like to contact me via email, please place the patient's medical record number in the subject line. Please be aware that I will place all correspondence in the chart. I typically respond within 24-48 hours. If you do not receive a timely response, give me a call. Please also call for emergencies or urgent questions. If you need assistance after hours, please call the call center at (916)-525-6100.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
