Welcome to my home page, a website that my colleagues and I have developed to make it easier for you to interact with me and for me to take care of many of your healthcare needs. I'm eager to work with you to make your experience at Kaiser Permanente a positive one.

My Background

I earned my doctorate degree at Addis Ababa University Medical Faculty. I have completed my pediatrics specialty training at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and I have also completed my fellowship training, subspecialty in neonatology, at University of Kentucky.

Roles & Responsibilities

After completing my training, I joined The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) in 2009. I am currently working at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) giving the best care your newborn deserves at the Women and Children’s Hospital in Roseville, California.

On a Personal Note. . .

I am married and have four children. One of my children is preterm herself and visited my work place at birth and stayed in the NICU for a week. I like soccer but play occasionally. The gymnasium is my favorite. Reading is my hobby and I spend most of my time with my wife and kids.

Be sure to visit the Kaiser Permanente Website for additional information regarding appointments, prescriptions, health education classes and other health-related topics. You can also click on my department link above to receive additional health information.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
