Welcome to My Home Page

My colleagues and I developed home pages to make it easier for you to take care of your healthcare needs. On this site you will find answers to many of your questions about my clinical practice. Also included are several online features that will allow you to e-mail me, check your laboratory results and refill prescriptions. I hope you find its content informative and useful.

My Background

I trained in India and traveled to London, U.K. where I completed my internship. Subsequently I moved to Massachusetts, U.S.A. for training in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine.

I am a subspecialist with internal medicine as my main specialty. I trained further in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and interventional pulmonary medicine. As an interventional pulmonary physician, I try to provide invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in patients with reserved pulmonary reserve.

Professional Affiliations

  • Member, American Thoracic Society
  • Member, American College of Chest Physicians
  • Member, American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology

Roles & Responsibilities

My role is to help my patients heal themselves. Sometimes, the process of healing can be long drawn and occasionally can be helped by performing small interventions or simply counseling. It is a process where we all learn and try to better ourselves. As your physician, I hope to help you heal and learn the process of managing your health with you.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
