Welcome to my practice

I practice internal medicine as part of the hospitalist team at Kaiser Permanente San Jose. I may be one of the teams of physicians taking care of you while you are hospitalized. As your physician in the hospital, I value my relationship with you. We are committed to giving you the best quality care.

About Me

I attended the University of California, Berkeley as an undergraduate then completed my medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. I finished my internal medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Oakland and have also worked there as a part-time hospital medicine physician prior to joining Kaiser Permanente San Jose. I have chosen to continue my practice within the Kaiser Permanente system because it provides excellent services to its members and is also a great model for a health care system.

Professional Affiliations:

  • American College of Physicians
  • American Medical Association
  • California Medical Association

My interests and hobbies

In my spare time, I spend time reading medical literatures to keep myself up to date with medical advancements. I also enjoy family gatherings, traveling, hiking and eating gourmet food.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
