Welcome to My Home Page!

Working in the Emergency Department (ED) fulfilled my desire to pursue a career that would help my community and challenge me on a daily basis. Emergency medicine focuses on caring for patients with acute needs, usually a sudden onset of a medical problem. I chose this specialty because I wanted to see patients at the start of their care, when they first arrive with a medical issue that needs to be resolved. I also really enjoy dealing with the wide variety of medical cases that we get here in the ED.

Although there were many hospitals I could choose from, I decided to work at Kaiser Permanente because I was impressed with the comprehensive care provided to their patients. As a physician here, I feel my role is to treat each patient as if they are one of my own family members, and provide quality care to every person that comes into our department.

I am a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).

On a personal note, my hobbies and interests include running, traveling, and going to the movies.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
