My Biography

I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because I had been a member for many years prior to my employment. The care was always excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. I wanted to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente team offering high quality care.

I enjoy working in travel medicine for the opportunity to help our members who are traveling prepare for safe and healthy travel. It is always so interesting to hear about where members are traveling – my geography is much improved!

To keep current in my field, I attend travel medicine conferences and belong to a travel nurses group that meets and shares information. I also enjoy reading the Journal of Travel Medicine.

Outside of work, I like to spend time with my family and friends, read, travel, and volunteer. I try to stay healthy by exercising and taking long walks with my dog.
