About me
While working with DNA in graduate school at UC Davis, I realized that I did not want to be confined to a lab all day but would rather interact regularly with people. Also, I have always been interested in the medical field and in anatomy and physiology. Making the decision to become a physical therapist made sense because this is a profession that perfectly integrates all of these interests.
I enjoy engaging in daily conversations with a wide variety of patients, serving as an educator, fostering patient independence, and facilitating self-management of symptoms. Clinically, I am interested in orthopedic physical therapy as well as more holistic aspects of physical therapy and medicine.
I like working for Kaiser Permanente for many reasons. I have the privilege to interact with a diverse array of patients and partner with quality physicians and staff. I am also impressed with the quality, integrity, and innovative attitude of our organization as a whole.
When I am not working, I spend time with family and friends and a multitude of pets. I also enjoy cycling, swimming, kayaking, walking, and music.

| Undergraduate Degree | BS in Physiology, University of California, Davis |
| Physical Therapy Education | MPT from Samuel Merritt College, Oakland |
| Licensure | Physical Therapy Board of California |
| Advance Training | Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Australian Approach, CA |

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
