Thank you for taking the time to visit my home page. This page is designed to provide you with information about myself and links to anesthesia information that you may find useful and educational.

About Me

I completed my Anesthesia residency from Loyola University in Chicago in 1997. Since then, I have worked as a faculty at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. I enjoyed working in various clinical, administrative and research projects.

I joined Kaiser Permanente in March 2005. I perform all aspects of anesthesia care for our diverse population, ranging from pediatric patients, pregnant patients to the elderly. I believe in giving my best care to the patient by describing all risks, alternatives and benefits, and by allowing the patient to express their questions and concerns.

I am a volunteer clinical faculty at UC Davis Medical Center. I am a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and California Society of Anesthesiologists.

I believe in Kaiser’s philosophy towards patient care and its organized delivery system. The integrated model allows me to practice Anesthesia in close coordination with other medical specialties to provide a high level of care for patients. It allows my colleagues and me to thrive professionally without regard to financial gain.

When I am not working, I love to spend time with my husband and two daughters. We enjoy bike rides along the American River, hiking and camping.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
