Dr. Kulkarni received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She went on to Baylor College of Medicine, where she received her medical degree in 1998. Dr. Kulkarni joined Kaiser Permanente in 2005 and is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Kulkarni completed her residency at Cook County/Rush University Medical Center in Chicago in 2002. Her medical interests include women's health issues, including domestic violence.

She speaks Spanish, Hindi & French and enjoys hiking, going to the movies & world travel.
