My Biography

When I was 15 years old, I tore a ligament in my knee which required surgery and extensive rehabilitation. Since that time, I have known that I wanted to become a physical therapist. Today, my professional goal is to work with patients to develop an appropriate care plan, one that will assist them in achieving their functional goals. My specialty is in adult orthopedics, with a special interest in sports medicine and office ergonomics. My coworkers call me the Bionic Woman because of the surgeries I've needed after falling off my mountain bike!

I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, with my most favorite being cycling. Several days per week you will find me bicycling over the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin. I also enjoy traveling. Recent excursions have included bike touring in Europe, sightseeing in Turkey and attending the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival. I like to read, do crossword puzzles and watch college basketball.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
