About Me

I was born and raised mainly in the Midwest having lived in Indiana, Tennessee, Missouri and Michigan. I moved to California to do a pediatric anesthesia fellowship and have lived here ever since. I love to travel, but in recent years I only tend to travel locally to find fun and interesting things to do with my husband and two children.

My Philosophy

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2006 after my fellowship and enjoy focusing my practice on patient care. I enjoy gaining new knowledge and techniques to improve the quality of care I deliver to my patients. I like all aspects of anesthesia but have a special interest in pediatric anesthesia having completed a general pediatrics residency and an anesthesia residency at Washington University in St. Louis and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Stanford University.

My Credentials

Medical school University of Michigan School of Medicine, Ann Arbor, MI
Internship St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Louis, MO
Residency Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO
Fellowship Stanford University, Stanford, CA
Board certification Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics
Board certification Anesthesiology, American Board of Anesthesiology

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
