Welcome to My Home Page!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the Outpatient Adolescent Eating Disorder Treatment Program in Walnut Creek. I received my training in eating disorder treatment at Monte Nido Treatment Center, in Malibu, CA.

I believe that the connection between patient and treatment professional is essential for healing to take place, as well as the importance of an integrated team approach to treatment. I work with the adolescent and the family in order to educate, facilitate understanding and to provide support in the refeeding process. I provide patients with individual sessions, family sessions, and facilitate meal support and recovery groups in the program.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
