My Practice Philosophy
As a pediatric pulmonologist, my job is to assist you and your primary care physician to help your child live and breathe better. Your primary care physician is still your main contact medical care-giver and I see myself as an assistant to both of you.
My job is to help clarify your child’s problems and to help make sure the condition is under good control. Each doctor has unique practice styles. I see my role as a helper to you. Some of the things I can do are:
- help make sure we are not missing anything.
- help find out what is the cause of your child’s problems.
- help find a plan of action that will keep your child healthy.
- help avoid overmedicating your child.
I can also help you understand how medication, lab tests, clinic visits, etc., can and cannot help you. Ultimately, I wish to partner with you to make sure you have all the tools you need to live and to breathe easier—to thrive.
