Greetings! Welcome to my Home Page!

I am a staff physician at the Emergency Department of the Kaiser Permanente Manteca Medical Center. I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Stockton, Manteca, Modesto and Tracy. I hope that we can always provide high quality of care and service to you.

About Me

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have been interested in emergency medicine every since I entered medical school.

I received my medical degree from the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Albuquerque, NM and completed an internship at Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program Inc. at Tucson, AZ. I am board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine in Emergency Medicine.

I have an active interest in international medicine and have participated in projects involving delivery of health care in other countries.

I recently obtained AED’s (Automatic External Defibrillators) and help train a group of paramedics from Mexico in their use.

My Philosophy of Care

As all emergency physicians, I treat all who present to the Emergency Department in need of care.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome, and I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
