This web page is intended to provide some information about me, together with some information about Diagnostic Imaging services, and to provide resources that can hopefully address questions you may have about upcoming tests or procedures.

I attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and the University of California at San Diego, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Biology. After receiving an MD degree from Temple University School of Medicine, I completed an internship in Internal Medicine followed by a residency in Radiology at the Penn State College of Medicine. I received fellowship training in Neuroradiology at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Upon completion of training I worked at a private practice in Fresno, California for one year before joining Kaiser Redwood City in 2006. I chose Kaiser as a place to practice medicine because of its integrated model which provides efficient and high quality medical care.

I am board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology. I am a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Neuroradiology, and the San Mateo County Medical Association.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, movies, running, tennis, traveling, and spending quality time with my wife and twin sons.

If you would like to find out more about Radiology, the panel on the left side of this page contains links to general information about many of the diagnostic tests and procedures we do in our department. At the bottom of the "Learn More About Radiology" page there is a link to the patient information web site of the Radiological Society of North America.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
