Greetings! Welcome to my Home Page!

I am a staff physician at the Emergency Departments of the Kaiser Permanente Manteca Medical Center. I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can always provide high quality of care and service to you.

About Me

I was born in Kimpese, Zaire and raised in Zaire, Taiwan and Indiana. I always wanted to help people and I was fascinated with science when I was in school. These facts triggered me to pursue my career in the medical field. I obtained my medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, IN followed by my emergency medicine residency at King Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles and Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. My medical interests include aviation and tropical medicine.

Kaiser Permanente provides a well organized working environment, with friendly staff and professional colleagues. Central Valley is a good place to live with great weather, and proximity to mountains and oceans. When I am not at work, I like flying, skydiving, soccer, hiking, and watercolor painting.

My Philosophy of Care

I believe all patients should be treated with respect. I will treat my patients as if they were my own family, and I always try to put myself in their place so that I will have a better idea of providing the best possible care for them.
