Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Welcome to my home page. My name is Andrea Wallace and I am an Audiologist. Audiology is a profession that handles the diagnosis and non-medical management of hearing loss. My site is designed to help assist you in finding information and resources that you may need.

About me

I was born and raised in the Central Valley. I made the decision to become an audiologist because I wanted to work in a field that helps improve the quality of people’s lives. Hearing is one of our most important senses and I enjoy assisting people in protecting and regaining this sense. Audiology is a small but important field.

I attended California State University, Sacramento, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and Master of Science degree in Audiology. I am licensed by the California Speech Pathology and Audiology Board and by the California Hearing Aid Dispensers Bureau. I maintain certification with the American Speech and Hearing Association.

I grew up in the Central Valley and most of my family still lives in this area. I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, attending shows and concerts, and reading. I have worked at Kaiser Permanente since 2004.

My Philosophy of Care

I strive to provide my patients with information and recommendations that will aid them in making informed decisions about their hearing healthcare. I listen to what they have to say and then advise them of the different options available.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
