A little about me:
I completed undergraduate degrees in Biology and Philosophy, was a Ruth Nicols Endowed and Rufus Choate Scholar, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude. I went on to medical school at Harvard, where I was the winner of the Soma Weiss Research Award for work on human reasoning with Dr. David Caplan in Neurology.
I then went to Washington University in St. Louis, completing training in Pediatrics, Neurology, and Child Neurology in July of 2006. During this time I was named St. Louis Children’s Hospital Outstanding Teaching Fellow. I was then faculty in the Department of Neurology at Washington University in St. Louis and a NIH K12 Neurological Sciences Academic Development Award recipient. My research while at Washington University mirrored my clinical interests - to understand and impact the fundamental alterations in cerebral structure and function that cause aberrant cognition.
My practice philosophy:
I understand how important your child is and feel privileged to participate in their care. With this in mind, my goal is to provide the most comprehensive, state of the art, and effective treatment for your child. In this setting, I see parents as my most important ally. This partnership is at the core of our approach – a team centered around your child.
