Welcome to My Internet Home Page

My name is Alicia McLelland, PT and I am your In-Patient Physical Therapist. I am located at the Physical Therapy Department at Modesto Medical Center, 4601 Dale Road, Modesto, CA 95356. Thank you for coming to Kaiser Permanente for your health care needs. I hope I can provide you with the best possible care for your Physical Therapy needs.

About Me

I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology at Saint Mary's College, Moraga, CA and my Master's Degree in Physical Therapy at Mount Saint Mary's College, Los Angeles, CA. My medical interests include rehabilitation specifically in neurologic rehabilitation. I worked for seven years at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center in Downey, CA and returned to the Central Valley to be closer to my family. I chose the profession of physical therapy because it embraces the ideas of fitness and activity that I believe in, it allows me to help others to reach higher levels of fitness, activity and independence.

I chose Kaiser Permanente because the organization has a reputation for a higher standard of practice, excellent clinical education and great health care services for our members.

When I am not working, I enjoy being physically active and I participate in a variety of sports including softball, flag football and more recently, snowboarding. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

My Philosophy of Care

My philosophy to medical care is to provide the highest possible of care, to be a strong advocate for my patients and to empower them to make educated decisions about their health.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.
