Welcome to My Internet Home Page

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can provide the highest possible quality of care and service to you.

About Me

I was born and raised in Canada and moved to Illinois just before college. I attended medical school at University of Illinois at Chicago and completed my internal medicine residency at San Joaquin General Hospital at French Camp. My medical interests include all aspects of in-patient care, especially intensive care. I chose the field of medicine because it challenges me everyday and also allows me to help people.

I chose to be at Kaiser Permanente because I agree with the philosophy of preventative care and diversity of services. As for why I choose the Central Valley, my wife and I love its proximity to many major cities and the beautiful nature.

I am married and my wife works as a pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente. When I am not working, I enjoy working on cars and building things that are needed around my home. Besides English, I am fluent in Punjabi.

My Philosophy of Care

As hospitalist, one of my most important allies for continued patient health is the out-patient doctor since preventative care is so essential. To this end, I believe in providing effective and timely in-patient care so as to restore people to their previous level of health and continue with their out-patient doctor.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
