Welcome to My Home Page!
I am originally from Southern California (city of Orange). I got my undergraduate degree at U.C. Davis, where I met my husband. I attended medical school at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. I attended pathology residency at U.C. Davis medical center, where I also completed two fellowships (surgical pathology and cytopathology). I also served as chief resident for a year. I began practicing in 2007 and worked for two years in Reno, Nevada at Renown Hospital (as an employee of Sierra Pathology Associates). I am a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.
As a pathologist, I try to serve the clinicians and patients they treat by giving accurate and timely diagnoses, delivered with the utmost courtesy and respect.
I enjoy reading, cooking and traveling. I am an animal lover and have two cats and one snake. I am very busy entertaining a new daughter, who was born July of this year (2009). My husband is a professional brewer, so we enjoy visiting local breweries on our travels.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
