Welcome and thank you for visiting my home page!

I am excited to be in the Bay Area and part of the Kaiser family. After growing up in Berkeley, I spent nine years in New York. During that time, I decided on a career in emergency medicine. A visit to the emergency room can be a distressing and frightening experience for the patient and their family, and I am grateful to be in a position not only to help, but to also comfort. I enjoy the team approach to patient care that is so crucial in the emergency department. Having grown-up a Kaiser member, I am proud to belong to an organization that works towards improving the patient experience, access to care, and empowering patients with knowledge.

I have been spending my time outside the hospital working on home improvement and landscaping projects. I enjoy cookouts with friends and family, skiing, hiking, camping and exploring the California coastline. I am working my way through the rock climbing gym and just may give outdoor climbing a try one of these days.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
