About Me

I decided to become a physical therapist after a successful college athletic career despite seemingly constant injury. I became interested initially in the physical rehabilitation of sports injuries. After my clinical residencies in graduate school, I realized the potential of physical rehab for any injury. I received my doctorate in physical therapy from the University of the Pacific in 2006. In 2007, I joined Kaiser. In 2008, I successfully completed the year-long Southern California Kaiser Permanente Orthopaedic Clinical Residency. Shortly after completion I tested for and was awarded my Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist Certification.

I am especially fond of Kaiser Permanente both as an employee and a member. Kaiser supports well-rounded continuing education for many disciplines of health care and leads the nation in quality of care. As a member, I feel empowered to participate in my own care through open discussion with my team of healthcare providers. I feel Kaiser delivers on its "thrive" promise.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
