I have lived most of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area. I completed my undergraduate studies in Environmental Science at the University of California, Berkeley. I received my Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. As part of the optometric training, I interned at the Native American Health Service of Oklahoma, Bethesda Naval Hospital Maryland, the Optometric Center of Los Angeles, and Jules Stein Medical Center at UC Los Angeles. In addition, I worked at commercial and private practices before joining Kaiser Permanente Medical Group.

My goal is to serve patients to the best of my abilities. I am therapeutic certified. I believe everyone should be knowledgeable regarding his or her health. During your visit, I will strive to listen and address any concerns you might have about the eyes or health conditions that may affect the eyes. You can email or contact me through our department advice line should you have questions after the visit.

I am fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. My personal interests include reading, music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
