Welcome To My Internet Home Page

Welcome to my Internet Home Page. Thank you for your interest and taking the time to learn more about me and the Radiology Department at Kaiser Permanente Modesto. There are a number of links to clinical information, as well as a link to the web sites of other members of our department. You can even use this site to refill prescriptions, or request an appointment with your personal physician.

About Me

I obtained my medical degree at Punjab University, Ludhiana, India. I completed my internal medicine internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Upper Darby, PA followed by completing my diagnostic radiology residency at Cooper University Hospital, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), Camden, NJ. In 2005, I completed my interventional radiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. My specialty, diagnostic imaging, and my subspecialty, interventional radiology, are thrilling intellectual realms, where art and science meld together. New modalities, techniques and other advances in my field present a continuing challenge, and I try to keep current with these advances.

I wanted to become a doctor because it provides an opportunity to really help people in a way that can positively impact their lives. I joined Kaiser Permanente as it provides an integrated model of health delivery that is comprehensive and preventative, along with an innovative environment for both doctors and patients.

I am a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, Society of Interventional Radiology, and various states, regional and local organizations.

I chose to stay in the Central Valley because it is proximity to cities and nature. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking and camping, engaging in outdoor activities, watching movies, reading fiction and current affairs, cooking meals, meeting friends and traveling. I love to learn about and experience different cultures. I try to live a balanced life, making time for family, friends, work, exercise, and rest. Besides, English, I speak both Hindi and Punjabi fluently.

My Philosophy of Care

I believe that patient care should be comprehensive and multidimensional, and that each patient should be treated with empathy. I take the responsibility of being entrusted with someone’s health very seriously. I take pride in doing a good job, and I collaborate well with my colleagues.

Our entire Radiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you need to schedule an appointment in the Department of Radiology or you have questions about your care in our department, please call (209) 735-6250.
