Welcome to my web page. I hope it will help you better understand my role in taking care of you or your loved one.

I was born in Pakistan and moved to United States a few years back for residency training. When I came here, I absolutely fell in love with the bay area and decided to call it home. After my training, I joined Kaiser as a hospitalist physician, which means I take care of patients who are admitted to the hospital. I am thrilled to be a part of such a dynamic institution as Kaiser and have been very happy with my experience so far.

I aspire to bring positive energy into the lives of people I interact with, whether its my patients, their family members or my colleagues.

In addition to English, I speak fluent Urdu (/Hindi), Punjabi & some Spanish. When I am not at work, I enjoy traveling, trying out new recipes, new restaurants and spending time with my husband and son.

My Credentials

Medical school King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan
Residency UC San Francisco Fresno Medical Education Program, Fresno, CA
Board certification Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
