Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Welcome to my Internet Home Page. I appreciate your interest in Anesthesia Department at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley Area. I hope this page will give you more information about the services our department provides.

About Me

Let me tell you briefly about myself. I was born in Russia in a family of physicians. I was a medical student when my family decided to leave the former Soviet Union and to come to Boston, MA. I obtained my undergraduate studies at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Thereafter, I received my Doctor of Osteopathic medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, North Miami Beach, FL. I was fortunate to complete my anesthesiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Boston, MA.

After completion of my residency training I joined one of the medical groups in the Central Valley and worked predominantly at one of the local hospitals in Stockton. I am very happy to start a new career at Kaiser Permanente and I am fortunate to join a very dedicated group of physicians. I am impressed by the level and quality of care patients receive at Kaiser Permanente.

I try to spend a lot of time with my family. My wife and I are raising three children – two girls and one boy. I enjoy playing tennis and skiing at South Lake Tahoe. I am a native Russian speaker.

I became a physician because I truly enjoy helping people. I chose anesthesiology because it is quite technical, scientific, and you can see the effects of your treatment nearly immediately. I really like performing various clinical procedures in anesthesia.

My Philosophy of Care

I believe every patient should receive the best care possible. I prefer an individualized approach to medicine. Since every patient is unique, he or she should receive the treatment that best suited for his or her individual needs. Please, do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I appreciate the time you took to read about my personal background.

Our entire Anesthesiology Department and I want to be certain that all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your pre-operative office visit, please call (209) 476-3633.

Thank you again for viewing my web page!
