To My Patients

Welcome to my Home Page. Thank you for your interest and taking the time to know more about me and to learn more about the Oncology Department at Kaiser Permanente Stockton. There are a number of links to clinical information, as well as a link to the web sites of other members of our department. You can even use this site to refill prescriptions, or request an appointment with your personal physician.

About Me

I am Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Medical Oncology. I have ten years experience in the field of medicine. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Finch University Health Sciences/ The Chicago Medical School, North Chicago, IL. I obtained my fellowship at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA where I received an award for Outstanding Medical Service. I also received an award for Outstanding Medical Community Service in South Bay Area, Los Angeles County. Most recently, I was given the award for Excellence in Service by Kaiser Permanente. I have served on the Cancer Care and Pain Management Committee. Apart from my clinical duties, I conduct a group class on "Understanding Cancer" to educate patients about cancer and to help ease the discomfort of chemotherapy treatment.

I joined The Permanente Medical Group in 2000 because I believe The Permanente Medical Group is among one of the best places to practice medicine. When I am not with my patients, I devote my time to my wife and children. My personal interests include reading, travel, and computers.

My Philosophy of Care

My philosophy is to always listen to your patients and through their words and actions, they will tell me what is wrong with them. I also believe in educating my patients about their illnesses along with the clinical intervention.
