About Me
I am fascinated with how people move. Physical therapy bridges my background of dance and gymnastics with my interest and respect of science, and allows me to work with people to continually learn about and experiment with human movement.
As a physical therapist at Kaiser Permanente, I enjoy the opportunity to meet with a variety of people with different challenges, lifestyles, and movement needs. I explore the reasons why we use our bodies the way we do. I enjoy analyzing movement strategies and sorting out weaknesses or substitutions that may be creating problems. I am able to be both research-minded and creative while I work to improve the lives of my patients.
I love getting to know my patients. In particular I enjoy helping people to achieve their personal goals. I help people decrease painful symptoms to allow them to get through the day, optimize power or flexibility for sports play, or improve balance and strength to move from their bed to a chair. I can work with people in ways that help to achieve lifelong benefits.
My philosophy? Involve my patients as much as possible. By listening and asking questions, I can discover what is important to each patient so that we can work towards meaningful, personal goals.
When I am not caring for patients I enjoy spending time with by husband, playing with my American Bulldog "Steve McQueen", challenging myself with new activities such as tap dance class or learning to play bocce ball, or relaxing at a movie.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
