My Biography

I was raised in the Bay Area, in the cities of San Francisco and San Mateo. My interests in medicine started when I had to overcome a variety of sport related injuries while growing up. The knowledge and ability to help people recover from injuries led me to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.

I joined The Permanente Medical Group in April of 2001, working at the Physical Therapy Department at Kaiser Permanente Fremont. I had always wanted to live in San Francisco again, so in January of 2005, I found a place to live in the city and then transferred to Kaiser Permanente San Francisco.

I currently work in a variety of settings here at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco which include Sports Medicine, Out-patient, and In-patient Physical Therapy. My special medical interests include Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation. I really enjoy the variety of patients that I see every week.

I THRIVE by cycling almost everyday. I am an avid cyclist, and have participated in various charity cycling events such as the San Francisco to Los Angeles AIDS Lifecycle. One of my most memorable moments in cycling was a trip to France (with my bike, of course) to watch the 2004 Tour De France which was won by Lance Armstrong. In addition, I also enjoy running, snowboarding, and adventure sports. I also like to exercise the mind by playing Scrabble with friends.
