I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I attended the University of California at San Diego where I graduated with a BA in Biochemistry and Cell Biology with a minor in Japanese Studies. I attended the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy where I received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree. I completed my residency in Clinical Pharmacy Practice with an emphasis in Primary Care at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Long Beach, California.

I joined Kaiser Permanente in August 1995 and joined the Mountain View team in November 1997. I have managed the Cholesterol Program under the supervision of Sonali Gotmare, M.D. My role in the Cholesterol Program is to work with patients to achieve healthy cholesterol levels. I am currently a member of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists.

In my leisure time, I enjoy golfing, listening to jazz and piano music, and spending time with my husband, family, and friends.

I want to be certain that you are completely satisfied with your visit. If you have any questions please feel free to call (650)-903-3020. For the Cholesterol Program, please call (650) 903-2629.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
