About Our Department

My Credentials

Medical school Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, OH
Residency UC San Francisco Medical Center, San Francisco, CA
Board certification Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

I am so pleased to welcome you to my practice. I hope this is the beginning of a long and healthy relationship!

Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Connecticut. Starting my journey west, I trained at Case Western Medical School in Cleveland, Ohio. I completed the transcontinental journey by attending residency at the University of California San Francisco.

After practicing in a Bakersfield private practice, I joined the faculty at UCSF where I could combine my love for clinical care, administration and teaching. I joined Kaiser Richmond in 1999 because of Kaiser’s commitment to excellent patient care and Richmond’s small, “we are family” atmosphere. At Richmond, I continue to blend patient care, administration, and teaching.

Outside of work, I am busy with my teenage daughters and husband. I enjoy quilting, hiking and reading.

As your personal physician, explaining cutting-edge treatment options and research is as important to me as teaching you about healthy habits for living. I look forward to partnering with you in your health care choices.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
